Country Activity

  1. Establish a Commission for Country Activity with a network of collaborators for specific subjects and regions.
  2. Create new Regional Cooperation Forums outside Europe and increase assistance to existing forums.
  3. Offer services to countries where there is no Esperanto youth organisation, e.g., assistance in founding new organisations.
  4. Train active members within and outside Europe, e.g., in connection with the UNESCO grant programme

 

External Relations

  1. Reorganise the commissioners in Europe with the aim of more effective and fruitful activity an visibility
  2. Strengthen our relations with the UN and its subsidiary organisations.
  3. Establish a network of active members in Africa to strengthen and stabilise contacts with ARJ.
  4. Establish a network of active members in Latin America to strengthen and stabilise contacts with FLAJ.
  5. Finish compilation of a new Handbook of external relations.
  6. Explore possibilities of cooperation with other youth organisations

 

Information

  1. Ensure continued high quality publication of Kontakto.
  2. Ensure regular publication of Dialog' (at least 2, preferably 4 per year).
  3. Create a TEJO world wide web site.
  4. Create materials about TEJO for external information.

 

Congresses

  1. Extend the scope of the International Youth Congress.
  2. Improve the system of Congress participation fees.
  3. Pay attention to the environmental effects of congresses and events organised by Country Sections.

 

Culture, children and social activity

  1. Stimulate youth cultural creativity through competitions.
  2. Intensify cooperation with EUROKKA (organisation to promote Esperanto music).
  3. Lay foundations for social activities of TEJO.
  4. Develop TEJO activities for children.

 

Training/active members

  1. Study the training needs of active members and Country Sections.
  2. Prepare a database on active members and their expertise.
  3. Study training materials and courses of other organisations.
  4. Set up a network of experts available for personal consultation.
  5. Prepare various forms of special training (handbooks, courses, forums).

 

Accounts and finance

  1. Prepare an overview of the finances of TEJO (income and expenditure account and balance sheet) to allow prompt decision making.
  2. Use this overview to gain a clear idea of the financial development of TEJO, which will add perspective to foreseeable activities.
  3. Bring together and distribute all information received by TEJO on subsidies, and seek new sources
  4. List all possessions of TEJO in the Central Office or held by active members.
  5. Compile a handbook on accounts and subsidies.

 

General

  1. Accumulate experience of subsidy applications in the TEJO Central Office.
  2. Cooperate with UEA on the Campaign 2000 project.
