Language is a very important part of culture. It
represents national reasoning and a historical way that the nation has
experienced through passed centuries. Every language is unique and full
of culture, so a diversely coloured rainbow of languages is the bridge
that connects us with the treasures of unique national cultures.
The seminar is to be held in accordance with European year of languages.
One of its most important aims is the understanding of the relationship
between language and culture. Also, it seeks to show how language and
intercultural learning open up the world of different populations and
cultures. Practically, the seminar will prepare you for work that values
linguistical diversity and uniqueness.
Strengthening of successful international projects that are related to
languages and cultures receives a great deal of attention (eg. Language
Festivals, Interkulturo (Interculture), Indig^enaj dialogoj (Indigenous
dialogs)).
