Amanda Lynn
Higley was born 24 years ago in Sacramento, California, and
right from the start was an independent, unusual
girl...
But in 1996 she
did the weirdest thing yet...learned Esperanto. What's
that?
Unlike the other ambicious
students, after college graduation she chose to travel
instead of launch her career...and saved up her money until
she could fly off to the heart of the world's
esperanto-speakers: Europe.
Since then she's been travelling
from esperanto-speaking host to esperanto-speaking host. And
14 months later she still hasn't come home...
...but this September, she
finally will!
And she'll immediately start
lecturing
about her trip throughout the
U.S. and Canada
