"Lesson Zero" - Affixes

Affixes (parts that are stuck on to roots) are either prefixes (stuck on before the root) or postfixes (also called suffixes) (stuck on after the root).

Prefix
example: mal_ opposite (It does not necessarily mean bad like it does in Spanish!)
malrapide slowly
malsilenta bela birdo flugis rapide a raucous beautiful bird flew rapidly
silenta malbela birdo flugis rapide a silent ugly bird flew rapidly
silenta bela birdo flugis malrapide a silent beautiful bird flew slowly

Postfix
example: _et_ diminutive
    birdeto = little bird

example: _eg_ augmentative
    birdego = big bird
