Go to the shuttle stop outside the terminal on Kettner Boulevard and wait (usually less than 15 minutes). You have to cross the street on the skybridge and then go down to the street level using the escalator or the elevator. If you are unsure where to go, ask at the information center next to the luggage carousel and they will help you.
