Getting to Sidney

Sidney is located on Vancouver Island, about 25km (15 miles) north of Victoria.

The Victoria International Airport is a few kilometers from Sidney.

From Vancouver you can take a ferry from Tsawassen to Sidney.  This is a beautiful ride.  See the Touring Nearby Cities section for details.

From Anacortes, Washington, you can take a ferry throught the San Juan Islands, another lovely trip.  See the Touring Nearby Cities section for details.

From Seattle, Washington, you can take the Victoria Clipper boat or a floatplane to downtown Victoria, from which you can take a bus to Sidney.  See the Touring Nearby Cities section for details on the boat and plane, and details about getting from Seattle to Anacortes by bus (followed by ferry from Anacortes to Sidney).  See the About the Convention section for bus details from Victoria to Sidney.

The Convention Site

The site of all meetings will be the Mary Winspear Centre, 2243 Beacon Avenue, Sidney.  At their web site, you can take a virtual tour of the building and see photos of this beautiful new facility.

The only event held in a different locale will be the banquet Saturday night.  The banquet will take place at Theo's Place, a Greek restaurant a few blocks from the convention site.  It's at 9819 Fifth St, Sidney, BC V8L 2X4, phone 250-656-7666.

Arrival

Starting Friday afternoon, there will be a registration and information booth in the Mary Winspear Center, our convention site. There you can sign in and receive your convention materials.

If you arrive on Friday before the registration booth is open, you can go directly to the ELNA board meeting in the building.
